Lift
This was a design for Cinzia Scoglionero's graduation performance.
In LIFT we get to know four people who travel together daily, up or down, from home to work and back. Every day they spend a few minutes together. Apart from the time and space they share to go to the office, they seem to have little in common.
About the design
The dance performance Lift is a quest for the transition between private and public. How do we relate to each other in a limited space? To what extent do we release our own space and pierce someone else's personal "bubble"?
These are some of the pictures from our research and end result. I participated in the research myself. Later for the end result Cinzia asked 4th year students of the performing dance course of artez to dance in the piece.
